  1. Toyota had an old TV spot for the Corolla where they showed them seal the hood, to point out that they never needed anything done to them. WRONG message.

  2. Depends on the model and where it is made. My 98 US built Corolla was more reliable than my 86 Japanese built Camry. Now my 2010 Yaris blows them both out of the water.
