  1. Drach, do any after action reports like this exist from the Japanese side? It'd be really interesting to see what the IJN perspective was on these fights. The IJN seemed really well drilled and trained on carrier ops but their air strike tactics let them down and cost them so many planes and air crews, I wonder if they noted their deficiencies and had ideas for fixing that.
