  1. When I was growing up one of those long line towers was clearly visible about a mile away from my bedroom window. My mom still lives there, but trees have grown to obstruct the view. If you drive over, though, the tower is still there with all the feedhorns on it, and other stuff as well, now, mostly cell tower antennae.
