  1. I drive a GM truck with almost 270k miles on it. Runs fine. No engine teardowns or anything major. So from where I stand GM reliability is awesome. Can't speak for newer GM, since my old one is sticking around for a while.

  2. Laugh all you want, at over 40 mpg thirty years ago compared to a hybrid loaded up with toxic batteries and shit to even come close today.
