  1. So thankful for your heart! So many people don't understand that you can't just up and relocate sometimes (nor should you have to). I traveled back and forth from Georgia to New York for 2 years when my dad suffered a double stroke. It was horrible red tape where his disability pension would have been further reduced, I would have had to wait for my state and declare him a resident to try to transfer his medication issues, finding new doctors, all types of care issues. Dad passed in August of 2019. Within four months, lockdowns started. I had to put him in a facility for one month until we could finish out his caregiver's lower level. ONE MONTH cost double his disability. He was filthy and in a corner each time I went to see him. Every week when his caregiver showed up at different times he was never cared for properly. The facility started trying to tell her he was sleeping each time she came. So what? Now she can't sit w him?? Yeahhh...nope! I felt like Shawshank redemption that July when I wheeled him to the transport van and brought him to the sunny, CLEAN, lower level w round the clock care @ her home😊 Let's roll, Papi! I'm still getting bills...from BEFORE he was a resident 😮 make THAT make sense! Sending good vibes to ya, Hank! 🚐☁️☁️
