  1. Great job! And especially before we knew about lockdown. I haven't gotten to the next video yet, but I'm SO EXCITED! I was reading as recently as 2022 where a young man did a GoFundMe and raised enough to build about 20 tiny homes. But then some County head honcho/honchress said the people were better off 'using county resources and vouchers' and demolished them and gave the people a tent instead. Hmmm... let's see...waiting for years for vouchers to get them a place...(And in the mean time they have NO address, NO shelter, NO place to lock up their things to try & find work) Or use the shelter...as long as they get in line by 4 pm to hopefully get a bed by 7 pm. Have to be out 8 a.m. If you have male children over 16, they nor their father can stay inside, have to buy all their food; if they have a bike, it'll probably be stolen because a tent won't house it. Can't lock a tent. But this 'brilliant' city politician seems to think that's good enough. I hope that putting this village on the property will allow people to live sheltered. Shelter and self security is a human right, not a social luxury. I remember watching "God Bless the Child" with Mare Winnigham and Mos' Def. A hand up can do so much to change a life.
