  1. Why histriographer rather then the usual historiographer. While I'm here I would like to say how much I enjoy your videos. Always very interesting, informative and witty. Also, since you have gone human, spoken with a great deal of authority.

  2. I had forgotten about John Ericsson. He designed one of the locomotives entered into the Rainhill Trials for the Liverpool and Manchester Railway in 1829. He was obviously more successful at ships then he was at railway locomotives.

  3.  @virusguy5611  Yes but it was not his idea to send it to sea. You have to wonder what was in the mind of the person who decided to send it to sea.

  4.  @Drachinifel  sorry I'm late in replaying, just catching up. I have seen both spellings but the shorter one only a couple of times and then connected with some sort of title. So I was curious as to why you were using that version. Anyway thanks for the reply
