Okay it took me three goes to get to the end, including staying up until the the early hours of the morning for the last bit. I have seen an example of the first of the two mines. We had one locally which had a slot in it to collect money. I think the money raised went the orphans whose fathers had been lost at sea. I asked my mother what it was and she told me and explained how it worked. So, like any child, I started hitting the horns to see what happened. I was somewhat disappointed nothing happened. What happened to it I do not know for certain but I think it went for scrap.
