Why send a warship instead of a tug? Being how the tug was designed for such things and the crew was more experienced in such matters.

@hirisk761 Shifting over land Viking style. I like it. As we both know if the Navy actually knew what they were doing they would have sent a tug. That's what they are there for. And this would not be the last time they did not listen. There was that incident where the USAF lost a nuclear bomb of the Spanish coast and the Navy was looking in the wrong area. They eventually found it, right where the locals had been telling them where it was. Some people never learn

@grahvis And its draft would have been much shallower then the warship.
