@nathanbrown8680 There was a troopship in the Med and the AA guns were manned by the troops being transported. Unfortunately they were a bit trigger happy and the captain had to announce over the tannoy that the local seagull population was in fact neutral.

From what I have read by 1944 the German economy may well have collapsed leaving Germany not being able to go to war. This could well have left Hitler as a footnote in history.

@simonwaldock9689 True. That's why they first thing his army did when they took the capital city was head straight for the national bank and take all the money. You do realise that this makes WW2 the worlds biggest bank heist
