I have seen several videos about Taffy 3 and though the crews were Americans I have a feeling Nelson would have seen his doctrine and seen in Taffy 3 the finest naval warfare traditions of closing with the enemy. Heroes every one of them. As for Halsey. Here is a man looking for his own glory no matter what the expense to his own people. Not the first time his poor decision making had cost American lives.
