  2. I have seen photographs of Tiger Tanks hit by battleship shells in Normandy. Some 60 tons of tank upside down as if dropped by a child and left there. Make you think what it must have been like for those inside them. I think the Nevada's nickname should be the mule. It's the only other thing I can think of which is just that stubborn.
