  2. I am aware they had rockets on Iwo Jima but as always it is interesting to hear about their history and how they were used. I have read and seen a number of documentaries about the fighting on Iwo Jima. The one thing that has puzzled me was how they decided who got which medals. Medals are supposed to be awarded for those who went above and beyond that call of duty. From what I have read that has to be everyone who served there.
