  2. I knew they had their own mint but little of the details, so thanks for the video. The history of money is a huge subject, as I am sure you know. When Rome invaded Britain they had no small denomination coins. So a Roman soldier was giving his pay in large denominations only. Imagine receiving your monthly pay in just one or two coins and then trying to buy a beer. Frustrating for both sides.
