  1. I have read various accounts of this incident some with fighting some without. So it was interesting to hear that there was no actual battle. I did know that many Dutch were reluctant for their fleet to sail for England, what with our past history. Yet Dutch born King William III of England was a Prince of the House of Orange who with his wife Queen Mary II, Princess of Orange, had both sat on the throne of England. And you would have thought this would have improved matters somewhat.
