  3. Thanks for that. I thought it would make a good story when I mentioned it. The US Navy called their submarines Pig Boats. I'm sure I do not need to explain why. Obviously the lose of the submarine in this way was to much for Hitler and he took the only way out of this national embarrassment he could with any honour, which in turn, of course, then led to Germany's surrender.

  4. Thinking of all the things the Allies did during the war you don't think it was something we thought up. Save us a lot of time if they sink themselves.

  7. Yep. I'm the same with confined spaces. Also the idea of a ship that is supposed to sink. Just doesn't sit right.
