Well having somewhere to hang your hat gave me a good old chuckle. Obviously I have heard, and used, Philips screws, though I was under the impression it was something to do with the Dutch electronics company Philips as I first came across them on their products. The Robertson screwdriver is something new to me. So it is interesting to learn about them. Just goes to show how the Fates can play differently. I think he may have had more success if, like Philips, he had licensed this products to one of the big companies, such as British Standard Whitworth. He could have just let them do the heavy lifting. And Whitworth had a global reach In the 19th century many of the larger British railway companies made everything themselves, including nuts, bolts and screws. So quite a mix of types. The irony about the Archimedes screw is that several years ago they were reintroduce to Egypt to help low income farmers water their fields.
