Well your set up was good but I think you need to work on the punchline. 🤡🤠You mentioned circuses not having a fixed site. In the UK there are still a number of building which uses the name Hippodrome, Birmingham and Great Yarmouth are two which spring to mind, which were places were circuses performed in the past. Some of them are still places of entertainment today.

I actually did know that but as you mentioned about them not having a fixed sites in the US, and Canada, I thought I'd mention about those in the UK often performed in a purpose built building which included the word hippodrome in its name. We still have travelling circuses in the UK, now extinct in the US I understand. But I am surprised they are still going. We also have travelling fairs as well. The two biggest in the UK is the Nottingham Goose Fair and Hull Fair. Hull Fair, which was just over a week ago, is the largest, partly because it is the last major fair of the year before the stop travelling for the winter. When I was a child we finished school early on Friday to allow us to go to the fair while we still had daylight. My mother still has an old black and white photograph of us taken when I was about ten years old. I was holding a large parrot while one of my sisters holds a small monkey. The Guardian newspaper did a piece of photojournalism with regards the last travelling circus. Many of the performers trained in Eastern Europe and performing in America was their big break. Sad to see it go.
