  1. Great video. Because many of us no longer face animals such as wolves or bears we forget what it's for them and use to live next to each other. The nearest large carnivora near me is an urban fox. I have only seen it once but finding the remains of the odd pigeon shows it's still about. I knew about the two Kenyan lions as I saw a dramatised documentary about them some years ago. Interestingly the Maasai Mara of southern Kenya and northern Tanzania have a way of dealing with lions which teaches the lions not to attack them. The Maasai Mara carry a long staff to protect themselves if the lions get to close. But it is the stones they carry and how they use them that is the most effective method of dealing with lions. If the Maasai Mara sees a lion they will use the stones to drive it away, even if the lions are not being a threat. The Maasai Mara will even change their route just to throw stones at the lions and drive them off. This may seem cruel but it teaches the lions to stay away from the Maasai Mara. This helps keep both safe as the Maasai Mara will not be attacked by the lions and that means the lions in turn will not become man eaters and then be hunted.
