  1. A case for the English proverb "Give a dog a bad name and hang him". The observation about the ship are due to negativity bias and that people are apt to think poorly of this ship on weak evidence. All these things and more happened to other ships but because of its now perceived to have an unlucky reputation people notice what would go unnoticed on other ships. In the end she gave her life defending others, and did so bravely.
