  1. I knew about Britains involvement in the Greek Civil War but not so much about what went on behind the scenes. So thanks for that. I did come across references that America, possibly through the CIA, backed anti communist groups in Italy for many years after the war. Many communists were based in the north of Italy so you wonder how much support came via Yugoslavia.
