  2. I had forgotten about the term "All Sir Garnet". Not really used any more, if at all. Interestingly we do use Gordon Bennett, though usually as an exclamation. It, too, went out of fashion for some time, but was brought back by one of the characters in a British TV comedy series called "Only Fools and Horse".

  4. BippityboppityBOO Spices? Not sure Canada is noted for its spices. India and the Far East yes, but I am sure not about Canada. Still, if that's what you want to trade. It's just that you are going to have to paddle your canoe really fast between India and Canada.
