  1. I am surprised that the US still uses cheques. Here in the UK it is very rare that anyone uses them any more. If I pay a bill it is all done online. In fact I am one of the 80% in the UK who no long carries cash as it is all card payments now. All government, both local and national are done online and have been for sometime. Makes life much easier.
