  2. The Blackburn Buccaneer was a highly agile low level bomber and as such needed to have very strong wings. The normal technique of attaching the skin to the ribs would never have survived the extremely tight turns the aircraft was capable of. So they also used the technique of milling out the unneeded material with produced the skin and ribs as one unit. They used aluminium rather then titanium.
