Not sure why he thinks the return of the old Soviet Union would be a good thing. The last big exercise carried out by the Warsaw Pact was in Poland. When it ended Poles were going to the railway station where the Russian troops were waiting to go home to Russia and the Poles were giving them sweets and other treas and they were taking photographs of each other with the Russian troops. What the Russians did not know was that the Poles were mocking the Russians by giving them things they could not get at home in Russia. So the Soviet Union was was never that good.
