The might of the Russian military? Has this interviewer not been watching what has been happening. Any might the Russian military may have had has long gone. It's no good having thousands of tanks if you cannot use them properly. If Russia was mighty then Putin's invasion would have succeeded in the time scale he originally stated. It's not that Russia is absorbine the casualties it's just that Putin does not care how many people die as long as he wins. Also many of those conscripted are not ethnic Russians and those that are come from poor backgrounds with no say in the matter.
