  1. I must admit that for some time I have been of the opinion that Prigozhin was being hung out to dry by the Russian army. To be fair he did bring this on himself by making exaggerated claims about his own forces while belittling the Russian army. Prigozhin and his Wagner group are now paying the price for his arrogance.

  11. Not the first to suffer such a fate. On the other hand considering how bad the Russian generals have been it would not take much to achieve either in comparison.

  12. I think that both the Ukrainians and the Russian generals want him alive for now. The Ukrainians because Prigozhin is wasting much needed supplies and the Russian generals because Prigozhin makes for an excellent lightning rod for Putin's anger.
