  1. I've long had a soft spot for the F-5. Not big and flashy, or expensive, like many of its contemporaries, but a great little workhorse.

  4. There was a case of a British Spitfire pilot with his squadron in France at the end of the Battle of France who brought another pilot, French I believe, back with him to England.
