  1. I must admit I have a soft spot for all of these tanks. The Valentine II was definatelly better than any German tank in the Battle of France.

  2. Actually this was worse than useless. There were three of them built at a cost which would have paid for 250 Stug IIIs.

  3. I did read that the cost of a WW2 torpedo was the same as the cost of a Rolls Royce for that period. So you would want to use them cost effectively. Which is why ships like tankers were such important targets.
