  9. I thought Putin was keen on Ukrainians taking part in this referendum. Now that Ukrainians are rushing to get there they have changed their minds. Makes you think that Putin was not being honest about this referendum of his.

  12. The people of Taiwan may be Chinese in origin but they are now saying the feel more Taiwanese. And having seen what China did to Hong Kong they do not wish to suffer the same fate. China has shown that it cannot be trusted. So why would the Taiwanese want to become part of China. Historically lots of parts of the world belonged to other parts of the world but are now independent. No one is suggesting they return to the countries they were once part of. It is time china did the right and recognise that Taiwan does not want to be part of China and as an independent country.

  14. It comes to something when you're saying your side did it rather than admit that is was the enemy. And having seen the incompetence of the Russians it is believable. The Russians are saying they only lost one man dead. Though there is a rumour it is the same man who was dead on the Moskva. It's starting to sound like Operation Mincemeat but with a weird twist.

  19. Russian missiles are of such poor quality some 60% of them miss their target. One missile was so far off target it blow up a toilet on a beach, miles from its intended target.

  21.  @ericdpeerik3928  I should add that I think the F-16 is an excellent aircraft and quite capable of taking on anything the Russians have but as I understand it the Eurofighter will take much more time for the Ukrainian pilots to learn and that conversion to the F-16 would be quicker. And Ukraine needs better fighters yesterday.

  23. As Putin is fighting in Ukraine to take over a country which doesn't belong to him he is not going to hand Vladivostok to the Chinese. Though the way things are going there is a good chance China could just take it back.
