  1. Several years ago the Poles released the Warsaw Pact plans in case war broke out. Apparently there was a defensive line stretching across Poland, presumably north to south, which the Polish military would defend against NATO, while the Russians sat in eastern Poland from where they would counter attack. So Polish troops would be sacrificed to the NATO attack leaving the Russian troops untouched. Obviously when I Russian say he has your back you now know what he means.
