  1. I had read about soviet fighter pilots who would report problems with icing and were told to use the deicer to clear it. Then when the landed they would drain off the 'used' deicing fluid and took it to the officers mess for that evening consumption. Non-Russians in the army would drink the antifreeze used in the radiators t their trucks. Some even got their eyesight back.
