  1. The spitting in the lawyers shoes is a variation of an old Billy Connelly joke. I wont say wat went in the shoes but it was brown and smelled bad. In Britain the Inns of Court Regiment, made up of lawyers from the four Inns Of Court, and were known as The Devil's Own.
