  2. In Bernard Cornwell's Sharpe series of books the sergeant in them is supposed to carry one of these. Problem is that the books are based 100 years later. And, considering the rarity of the gun, you have to wonder where he would find such a thing. Plus having just seen how they are used how did he go about firing it.
