  1. I discovered in my thirties I was having trouble focusing at a distant object. So I did the usual of closing one eye then the other to see whether it was both eyes or just the one. Turns out it was just the right eye. And like most people I am right eye dominant. Interestingly at about the same time I noticed I was having trouble focusing at close range with my left eye. So I quickly trained myself and now if I look at something close up my my right eye is dominant and at a distance my left eye is dominant. It is now so natural to me I do not even notice I am doing it. I even forget which eye is dominant at which distance. About ten feet is the optimum distance for both being in focus.
