If there are records then the Secret Intelligence Service, or MI6, will have them. Whether you could get hold of them is a different matter. Secrets are kept for a certain amount of time in the UK. There used to be 30 years minimum under what was known as the Thirty Year Rule, now 20 years. Though in some cases this can be extended up to 100 years. If they are available then they can be requested under the Freedom of Information Act. Interesting that despite suffering less damage it was the Graf Spee which fled the field of battle. Since the times of the Ancient Greeks those who still hold the field of battle are the winners. So despite their damage the British won.
