  1. The last Tzar of Russia, Tzar Nicholas II, took personal control of the fighting in WW1. That did not end well for him. Someone should remind Putin that those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

  2.  @meatrealwishes  Monarchs are not supposed to lead army as they are not trained to do that. That is what the generals and marshals are for. It also means that if it all goes wrong the general is replaced and not you.
