  2. He is one of a group who believe that the ends justifies the means. So that a desired result is so good or important that any method, even a morally bad one, may be used to achieve it. So being the VP to a morally bankrupt man like Trump and even supporting him is justified because the end goal is for Pence to become president then impose his christian beliefs on everyone.
