@ogedaykhan9909 Historically that may be true. But not any more. Where are the T-14 Armata we were told about. They should have had 2,300 by 2020 but they are struggling to make the 100 for the test batch. Which was also supposed to be arriving by 2020. They next date is now 2025. Russia does not have the funding to pay for these tanks. Nor do they have the ability to produce all the parts for the tank. Russia cut back on education funding some years ago so no new engineers, the people needed to build the new tanks. The engineers they do have are in their late fifties and older. So they are having to buy what they need from abroad. And after the annexation of Crimea in 2014 they can no longer buy those parts. Russia's tank factory has had to shut because of the lack of materials so they can no longer build or maintain the tanks they have. Their aircraft are no better. They have just had several orders for aircraft cancelled because the engines and radar are just so out of date. Interestingly these are the same engines China has in their aircraft. Yes they can sell gas and oil. But they are reliant on gas and oil companies coming in to extract it as they are just not capable of doing it themselves. I think may of use thought like you. But now were are seeing the real Russia. And it's not a pretty sight

@Silver_Prussian You are too late. The sanctions are already there and getting worse. We can do without Russian resources but, thanks to Russia's failing education, Russia cannot do without the rest of the world. If Russia finds a new oil field they have to get someone else to extract the oil because Russia does not have anyone anyone who can do it in Russia. That same failing education is why the Russian army is still using T-72s and not T-14s. Many of the parts needed for the T-14 have to come from abroad because Russia no longer has all those engineers it was famed for. And After Putin invaded Crimea in 2014 sanctions were put on Russia which means it cannot buy what it needs for the T-14 from abroad. Putin tried to retaliate against the sanctions by banning the sale of Russian rocket engines to the West. We have better, cheaper, more efficient and more powerful engines to replace them. And they are reusable.

@ogedaykhan9909 Your very welcome. It's only recently I got a fuller story on the T-14 myself. And that was through putting various bits of information myself.
