Fascinating and educational. A history lesson and a common story for dictatorships almost everywhere. Thank you Lei !

Very interesting. Thank you Lei for condensing this important era of history. What a poisonous method of government they have developed.

My friends and especially my 50c army followers :-) Thank you Lei. You are always brilliant and now you are confident !
19
Thank you Lei. Extremely interesting and informative as usual.
16
Amazing ! Thank you Lei, this must have taken a long time to investigate.
15
People have been talking about a banking crisis for years, now its happening and Lei nails it with her excellent analysis.
12
Thank you Lei. Great content and presentation !
10
I always learn something from your excellent videos. Thank you Lei :-)

Thank you Lei. Fascinating.

Thank you Lei. I believe HK's reduced importance is also due to the relative rise in the financial importance of the other 1st tier cities. I read it now accounts for only 3% of China's GDP .. ? They can afford to wreck it ... so they did. Sad.
7
Its always a delight to see you because I always learn something. Thank you Lei. A person can spend their lifetime learning about China and its long history.
7
Thank you Lei ! The chives will be cut in Australia too.
6
Thank you Lei for bringing this issue up. Very interesting examples

I feel it's necessary to keep up with the machinations of Chinese politics, but I long for the day when we don't need to know about these monsters, other than from history books. Great reporting as usual. Thank you Lei !
5
Wow and WOW !! Thank you for researching this so thoroughly Lei
5
Thank you Lei. If any Chinese people in China are reading this, please come to Australia. Note, those who are, or have ever been, members of the CCP will have a distinct disadvantage in the eyes of the Department of Immigration, so maybe think about resigning your membership now. I believe the USA has a similar policy... ?

Interesting ! Thank you Lei.

Not just Chinese do it, except they get away with it. A man in Sydney named Harrop started a clothing outlet but used the same font/style as Harrods, in his advertising. Harrods (the British department store) filed a suit against him for trade mark infringement. Mr Harrop lost. Great video by the way. Very insightful.

That was absolutely fascinating ! The history of the Mexican silver dollar in China, is also an interesting one. Used by the communists in the Yunnan province when they teamed up with criminal gangs in their early days. Might make for an interesting story.
4
@drumpfdon760 You mean to tell me you don't know... ! Are you from Mars?
4
Very interesting. Professor Fan used the English word "predictability". Surely not because this is a western economic concept...
3
Fantastic report Lei.
3
You make everything understandable. Thank you Lei.
3
Another outstanding report ! Viscount pronounced Via-kownt (silent "s") It's an Anglo-French word
3
Great video Lei ! I notice in Florida the schools are teaching children about the evils of Communism. I think the time has finally come where we, as free citizens, can take a stand like this with confidence, given what the 20th century has taught us.
3
That was amazing ! Thank you. Langlang's father plays the erhu.
3
Outstanding report ! Thank you Lei.
3
Absolutely correct. Sadly, it took Trump to tell the Americans the unvarnished truth about the CCP. Unfortunately it WAS only Trump, albeit with his capriciousness and narcissism.
3
Thank you Lei. Extremely interesting !

Another amazing video with an easy to follow theme. Brilliant ! In 1956 Nikita Khrushchev said "we will bury you". General Qiao Liang's argument is just as facile. Understanding the dynamic and vital nature of the capitalism/democracy/freedom/western tradition combo, is like trying to understand quantum mechanics; mostly impossible, even for those who think they do.
2
Thank you Lei. Very interesting report !
2
Love your work !!
2
Wow ! That was powerful. Thank you for giving us this important piece of history.
2
Very interesting.
2
Thank you Lei. Sibelco owns a mine close to where I live
2
Thank you Lei. Fascinating. Will you be doing another live stream soon?
2
Amazing research and data gathering. I wish more people would know about your valuable work.
2
Lei puts everything into a relevant perspective
2
Thank you Lei. Absolutely outstanding report !!
2
Outstanding !

Another great report ! Thank you Lei.. I too have interacted with some of the wumao in the past. They are like people you will never come across anywhere else. I usually try to fight back with facts I know about China which just makes things worse because they lose face. I've only ever had one contrite message where the guy eventually said "All I ever wanted to do was make money for my family". Told him I understood because he sounded sincere. His account disappeared the next day.
2
I always wondered about the seemingly random advice from the government to the citizens. Now I understand. Thank you Lei.
2
That was excellent ! Thank you Lei. Hopefully I'll be there for your livestream on Saturday at 9.00pm US EST. (14 hours behind Australian EST for those who need to know. So 11.00am Sunday Australian EST !)
1
Excellent report. Thank you.

I can't help thinking about that Larry guy. Losing your mother is hard and although he's a Communist, I feel sorry for him.
1
Thank you Lei. Thought provoking. There will come a time when covid passes and the CCP will claim victory over the virus. Who will be left to believe them?
1
@flo7717 Let me explain. Chinese people are highly intelligent. Australia needs smart people to offset all the drongoes (rhymes with mangoes) from the middle east who are in the habit of marrying their first cousins. Racist, moi ?
1
Thank you Lei.
1
I believe it will be the Chinese immigrants to the USA, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia, NZ that will bring redemption to these countries. China's lose is everyone else's gain.

Germany murdered all its intelligent people in the 1940s and the rest emigrated. However, it has been making a dog's breakfast of its foreign policy since Bismarck set Germany up for failure in 1871.
