This guy falls into the trap of many old time academic economists by drawing on a very narrow view of history (monetary history). For someone who obviously lived through the Second World War I would like to know if he thinks that was purely about monetary theory and the greed of wealthy people in privileged positions. It seems he has blinkers on. ... and Douglas Macgregor as a source of information! WTF?
