  1. Villa Park is also having a new stand to increase capacity to 50,000. Which should be completed within a couple of seasons. They then also intend a further expansion to increase to 60,000. Not sure if that second expansion will be completed in time for 2028 though. Although, with this news being made official, it may speed up the process. Originally, the owners stated they wanted the 60,000 expansion "before the end of this decade" ... 2028 is pretty close to that target.
