  1.  @blackmephistopheles2273  EV battery packs wear out. Faster than ICE engines, and fast faster than ICE fuel tanks. This was the case with earlier EV's, usually due to bad cooling and battery management. Tesla batteries are expected to in most cases outlast the car itself. After that they still can be used for stationary storage applications (like grid storage, home batteries, ...) and after that they can be recycled. The recycling isn't really a problem, since car companies already see this as a means to get the resources for new batteries more cheaply compared to newly mined resources.

  3. That's really weird, the increased drag of windresistance alone should cause you higher consumption, and I am not even talking about tire resistance. You sure you use it correctly?
