So you'd rather live in a muslim like country? Turkey was a secular country, under erdogan it has become more and more islamic in nature. It's higly unlikely any christian country will get a muslim president while there isn't a very large minority muslims (30-40% at least) at which time you can't even talk anymore about a christian country. Can you tell me any christian country that has/had a muslim president?

"When Islam Party gets hold the Belgium, all Christians will have to leave or die. Just wait and see." I'll wait and see how an islamic party will get hold of Belgium with only 6% of the population muslim and this includes moderates who even have spoken out against this party. Hell, some muslims are part of parties that are for harsher immigration laws. Don't worry, Belgium will not turn islamic any time soon.

+Anakin sandwalker "But if you ever try to enter Mecca as a Christian, you won’t leave in one piece" any evidence for this claim? "Belgium, literally the country we’re all talking about." Or for this claim for that matter? I live in Belgium, a muslim prime minister is unthinkable, it would probably result in the unilateral seperation of belgium in flanders and wallonia as seperate countries. Also how can you even think that a country with 6% muslims is likely to accept a minister from such a low minority?

I didn't knew that about mecca, but then why would you want to go there as a non muslim? Also it's located in probably the most fundamentalist country in the world, so no real surprise there. And personally I'd say the vatican and mecca are quite different. The vatican has become nearly a tourist attraction and the seat of the pope and holy church. But it's not really a holy site you have to visit as a christian. For the second, ofcourse everything a political party claims is the truth /s. The islamic party has since last election only 2 seats in two communities. And now it's stepping out of the shadow, I wouldn't be surprised if it will be banned somewhere in the next few years. Really it has no power and the story about it is very much exaggerated. I have no doubt they claim to want to transform belgium, but they don't even have the power to do anything anywhere in belgium at the moment (politically speaking).

I don't know where you live, but there are only +-2200 pakistani immigrants (or descendents of) in Belgium and I couldn't even find a number for chechnya. Certain you weren't dreaming?

@MrGlume I am wide awake. It is people like you that are asleep and having unfounded nightmares.

The US has only two borders one with a rather similar country and still you couldn't stop the immigrants. If the hispanics instead where muslim, the US would now be around 16% muslim. The US has it rather easy due to its geographical location. Also many muslims were brought in to do the works belgians didn't want to do anymore (like working in the mines) a few decades ago.

internal borders are open, not the external ones, the greatest problem is the mediterranean. Whenever refugees get in trouble in international waters, international law dictates that they have to be rescued by any nearby ship and be brought to it's point of departure or if that isn't safe to a safe harbour (from which they will not be immediately send back to dangerous regions either). Seeing most leave from Libya the only safe harbours are european ones, and once here they can ask for asylum and they can't be send back if their safety might be threatened on return. It might even be a lot easier if we only had land borders, or borders to large oceans like the US, unfortunately this isn't the case. The european immigration/refugee crisis is not as easy as many people think it is, nor is it easily solved by just closing borders. It's a rather complex issue.

+Tonixxy How the hell does the few ten thousands imported workers in a european country like belgium impact US wages?

talsj39 probably because Irsrael has in the past created it's own border unilateraly and is still moving it's border with the settlements on palestine soil. Also protecting their border from what? A few thousand people throwing molotov cocktails and stones. Even riot police is able to handle this kind of things in cities without mass casualties unlike what happened in Israel. Israel could have easily 'protected' their border with non live ammunition or shots aimed for legs and arms, rather than targeted shots on torso and head. this while no Israeli has even been (seriously) hurt. rubber bullets and tear gas would have done the job as well without the huge casualties. Israel is always blaming hamas, but Israeli actions are only fuelling hamas and pushing more people in gaza towards hamas.
