@TheConservativeHippie Yet Bernie is one of a few politicans that do not lick Israels boot. He is actually less loyal to srael than almost all "regular" politicians.

@smalltowndude1 Wouldn't Tulsi be better as secretary of Defense or something. Afterall she was in the military and she speaks out to use the military as it is meant to: first and foremost defence, rather than offence, which seems the US military policy since WW2. And seeing that the vice presidency is more symbolic than some other posts, maybe this is a better place for Warren. Then again, with Bernie's high age (he's doing fine now, but don't underestimate the stress and impact of the presidency), maybe the vice presidency isn't that symbolic afterall. But I do agree with others, don't pick too many progressives from congress, maybe focus more on progressives that are not (yet) elected, just to keep progressive numbers in congress "high".

@Shelora Reparations is stupid, especially for people who never have been slaves themselves. It is better to just improve everyone's lifes (including that of descendents of slaves) with universal healthcare, better and free education, higher minimum wage and other welfare programs.

they should make a law to force a new president to release his/her tax returns before inauguration (or before the election, but that might be more difficult to get through).

Don't focus on age, that is just stupid.

So his argument is that Obama used more drone attacks? who could have guessed that drones would be used more when the technology actually improved enough to allow it to be efficient enough. The better comparison is between Obama's last 2-4 years and Trumps first few years. And even compared to Obama's 8 years, Trump is already doing worse.

I would say that it isn't really good tactic to go to a Trump rally to ask this question. All these people that go at this moment to his rallies are almost certainly his most ardent supporters who will never vote for ANY democrat. The republicans that might vote for a democrat will not be seen at his rallies. That Tulsi is named the most is actually not suprising. She is basically a centrist, possibly even center right with only a few policies in common with progressives (and which she slowly has stepped away from): anti-war and healthcare. And anti-war is actually not just a progressive policy, because even ardent republicans are anti-war. I honestly don't know how we could have held her for a progressive. However she is a refreshing centrist/center-right politician in that she actually speaks her mind, isn't bound to the establishment and doesn't seem bought. And ofcourse she didn't vote to impeach Trump, what could also help with his supporters.
