  2. ​Based on information from Operation Lonestar. The migrants who are being shipped by the state of Texas are not here illegally. The people in question were processed by Customs and Border patrol. They received an Asylum hearing court date and an ID card. Governor Abbott's people go down to the shelters and get them to voluntarily board the buses. The people that Operation Lonestar encounter who are actually here illegally are turned over to CBP for deportation. Texas can not deport a person. For them to be processed by the Mexican or other governments they have to be handed over by CBP. That is International Law.
