This is very cool. When LA held the summer olympics in 1984, a news station did a story on security. One of the things they showed was a version of this. I thought at the time and still do they said the weapon was an UZI. The concept was similiar. The weapon was mounted in a rectangular steel frame. Attached to the top handle. To deploy the weapon the user pulled up on the handle of the briefcase snd twisted it 180. Both sides of the case fell open. The top handle did not fold so one hand was on top and the other was on the grip and trigger. The two sides were hinged to the bottom of the frame. They hung down and carried spare mags etc. The sides also covered the barrel hole when they were shut.
