  1. George North As nice as this rifle looks. I know that the US military only paid about 450.00 each for their original batch of M16 and M16A1 rifles. (Lets not talk inflation) Knowing this, I find it difficult to justify spending $2000 on a USED rifle. That I can buy a brand new one in the box for a little over half of that and use the rest of the money for ammo to go to the range.
