  2. Remember they reduced the weight on the barrel by 2 pounds. Also subtract the modification to the stock. I own a .308 Savage Scout. Without a good recoil pad, it will punish your shoulder. The weapon is too light for a .308 round.

  3.  @CaptainCiph3r  The wire stock thing does look unpleasant. I would shoot it in its current configuration just to say I did it. Manageable to shoot in full auto probably. Painful most likely. I fired a wire stocked full auto Chinese AK years ago. The Chinese had milled 2 or 3 pounds off of that one. At the suggestion of the instructors, we put the wire stock under our armpit and clamped down. Made it a point and shoot close range weapon.
