  1. Very cool pistol. I wonder if it is where Hughes aircraft got the idea for the feed mechanism for the M242 Bushmaster chain gun. The rotating feed mechanism is similar, although much bigger. The feeder has two three slot mechanisms(that vaguely resemble this ) one for each ammo belt, that remove the rounds from the links, then as it is cycled rotate the round in front of the bolt where it is pushed up into the chamber. The bolt then chambers locks, fires, unlocks, then extracts the spent round back into the open slot. The feeder spins removing the spent case from the face of the bolt, places another round on the face of the bolt and strips another from the link. Then as the bolt moves forward again to repeat the cycle. An arm on the chain driven bolt carrier ejects the spent cartridge up a tube and out of the gun to the right of the turret under a hollow space that protects the coaxially mounted MG onto the deck. The weapon switch between two different ammo types with the press of a button.
